CORONAVIRUS
Our Safety Protocols

JUNE 2020
WHAT SIMPLY THE PETS ARE DOING TO ENSURE WE ARE OPERATING SAFELY AT THIS TIME
Our Team
If any of our team or a member of their household becomes unwell with a new continuous cough or a high temperature, they will be asked to return/ stay at home and follow the stay at home guidance.
Equipment
We will be using our own leads to walk our clients dogs to prevent cross contamination. Leads will be disinfected after each use.
We kindly request that clients ensure harnesses and collars are put on in advance of collection.
Social Distancing
We will be adhering to social distancing rules at all times. We ask for our client’s assistance in helping us to achieve this.
We are asking clients to let us know in advance the safest way possible for us to collect their dog, so that the team may be briefed. Ideally, we want to avoid entering client’s home, but the safety of your dog is paramount.
Options could be:
- Letting your dog come out to meet us in the front garden (if the garden is secure and it is safe to do so)
- Leaving your dog in the garden for us to collect via a side gate
- Leaving your dog in the hallway so that they can be collected quickly without the need for us to enter other rooms in your home
Clients are able to check (via the client portal) what time their dog will be walked, so that you may prepare and ensure their dog is ready for collection.
Sanitiser
Hand sanitiser will be used regularly throughout the day especially upon collection and return of your dog to your home.
