Hi, I'm Hayley, founder of Simply the Pets.
I started Simply the Pets in 2008 with a simple belief:
Pet care should be treated as a profession, not a favour.
What started as a small local business has grown into an established, award-winning pet-care service trusted by families across Warlingham and the surrounding areas.
After more than 18 years working with pets, I've learnt that great pet care isn't about treating every animal the same. It's about understanding them as individuals, knowing what they need and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable in our care.
What the pet needs. Not what we want.
That's at the heart of everything I do.
Professional experience matters.
Loving animals is important, but professional pet care requires more.
I'm professionally trained in canine body language, puppy care and canine first aid, alongside IMDT training and City & Guilds dog grooming qualifications.
Simply the Pets is fully insured and DBS checked, and in 2024/25 I was proud to be named Dog Walker of the Year for London & the South East.
I'm constantly learning and developing because I believe the pets in my care deserve the highest standards I can provide.

From the first consultation to every walk or visit, everything is designed to give you confidence that your pet is in safe, experienced hands.
You'll receive updates and photos after services, have access to your own online client portal and benefit from the professional systems and processes that sit behind the scenes.
Because when you're trusting someone with your pet, reliability matters.
Beyond Simply the Pets
Over the years, I've also developed Simply the Pets Pro, providing practical resources and support for other pet professionals based on the lessons I've learnt running a pet-care business since 2008.
Dedicated pet sitting since 2018
Kate has been our dedicated cat sitter since 2018, providing reliable, caring home visits for our feline clients while their owners are away.
Over the years, she has become a familiar and trusted face to many of the families we look after, taking care of everything from feeding and fuss to medication and the little details that keep cats happy and settled at home.
It's another part of what makes Simply the Pets different: experienced people you can trust, providing consistent care for your pets year after year.
