Our Story

Welcome to Simply the Pets. If you're looking for a Dog Walker or Pet Sitter you can trust and rely on look no further! I founded Simply the Pets in 2008 after deciding to turn my lifelong passion for animals into a career. In 2005, at 19 years old, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. During my treatment and recovery I realised that I needed to spend my working life doing something I loved and was passionate about, so in 2008 Simply the Pets was born & I haven't looked back since!

Along with over 15 years of professional, hands-on experience working with your pets I am a Certified Canine Body Language and Puppy Specialist (Dog Training College), have Canine First Aid Training, have completed training courses with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers), and am a City & Guilds Qualified Dog Groomer. I am also a member of the Pet Professional Network; a support organisation, dedicated to kind, ethical and trusted pet professionals.

To us, our job is not simply walking dogs, cuddling puppies or popping down some food for your kitty. We have invested in what we do so that you get the best, because your pets deserves the best!

Our team love animals, but pet care isn't about us, it's about providing our clients with a service they need that they can trust, depend and rely on. However, it is our passion which makes us constantly strive to be the best! That's why we're super proud to have been awarded Pet Sitter of the Year Award for London and the South East 2022.

We never see your pet as a commodity - we see them as an important member of your family and because of that we will welcome them into our STP family as if they were our own.

Our Scheduling Software

Simply the Pets uses a sophisticated software specifically designed for Pet Service Providers called Pet Sitter Plus. Our online scheduling software is designed to bring you, our valued client, a more convenient and improved customer experience. By registering with us and logging onto your online account you will immediately have access to a range of services.

Our clients think our system is great! They love that they can view their scheduled services at any time as well as make any additional requests or cancellations. This gives our clients the confidence that their dog walking and pet sitting services have been scheduled accurately. The number one requirement for any client looking for a pet sitter is reliability and our advanced and easy to use suite of scheduling tools help reduce the mistakes associated with manual systems. Meet The Team

At STP we have a fantastic team of honest, reliable & trustworthy employed and contracted dog walkers & pet sitters who feel privileged to be looking after your pets and take the responsibility of doing so extremely seriously. With a team of walkers we are able to provide a truly reliable service. Our team are hand picked, vetted and insured for public liability. Our walkers carry a first aid kit specifically designed for use on pets with them at all times.

We know our clients need reliability and flexibility. By having a team of walkers we are always on hand to help if one of the team is off sick, on holiday or you just need an extra service last minute!
