Exclusive group walks for dogs whose owners expect exceptional care

For dogs who love to explore, socialise and enjoy the company of carefully chosen canine friends, our group walks offer far more than simply a chance to stretch their legs.

With over 18 years of professional dog walking experience, I personally lead every walk and remain intentionally selective about the dogs I accept onto our groups. Dogs are walked in small groups of no more than six friendly, well-socialised dogs, allowing me to maintain a calm, balanced atmosphere where every dog receives individual attention.

About Our Walks

Each walk lasts a full hour and takes place at one of our favourite local parks and countryside walking spots, chosen for their space, variety and enrichment opportunities. Dogs travel safely in our dedicated vehicle, wear a Simply the Pets identification tag while in my care, and I carry fresh water and a pet first aid kit on every walk.

Our walking spaces are intentionally limited to maintain the high standard of care that Simply the Pets is known for. When you choose us, you are choosing an experienced, owner-led service where your dog is known, understood and cared for as an individual.

Licensing

Simply the Pets is licensed by Tandridge Council and operates in accordance with the Surrey County Council Dog Walkers’ Code of Conduct, giving owners additional peace of mind that their dog is in experienced, professional hands.

Minimum Requirement

Because dogs thrive on familiarity, I ask for a commitment of at least one walk per week. Regular walks allow me to build a genuine relationship with your dog and provide the consistency that helps them feel secure and confident.

Are Group Walks right for me?

At Simply the Pets, our group walks are designed to be safe, calm, well-managed and genuinely enjoyable for every dog in our care.

One of the things that sets us apart is that we do not believe group walking is right for every dog. Our approach is always “what the dog needs, not what we want.” If we feel a dog is not happy, relaxed or benefiting from a group environment, we will discuss this honestly with you and help find the most suitable alternative.

To join our group walks, dogs should:

Enjoy the company of other dogs of different breeds, ages and temperaments
Be comfortable walking on lead. Excitement when arriving at the park is perfectly normal, but for dogs that pull we ask owners to provide a well-fitting harness to improve comfort, control and safety
Ideally enjoy some off-lead time. We are happy to work with young dogs towards this and can use long lines where appropriate
Be able to remain reasonably calm and not become excessively over-stimulated around other dogs
Travel comfortably in a car
Not be in season (females)
Unneutered males are welcome and are assessed on an individual basis.

Group dynamics are continually monitored, and I regularly reassess how each dog is coping within their walking group. If I ever have concerns about your dog’s suitability, I will discuss them with you promptly so that we can agree the best way forward for your dog’s wellbeing.
